a beautiful, lightweight, unlined jacket, made by Rubinacci/Attolini in the middle 1930’s. I love the belted back and pleated skirt with buttoning vent, an unusual detail I haven’t seen before.

Enjoying a picnic lunch at the Herne Hill Velodrome last Sunday, watching the excellent and entertaining track cycling and window shopping all of the lovely bikes and accessories in the jumble/market.

Outside the tailors Graham Browne, visiting as a spare pair of eyes for someone else’s fitting. It’s sometimes usefull to have someone with you at a fitting to cast an extra opinion or just to bounce your own ideas off of, I hope I was of some help.

The rain, in Spain Bristol, falls mainly on inside ( & under the roof of )the plains Temple Meads rail station!
After an altogether too brief visit to see one of my younger brothers & his wife in Cardiff, Wales. I caught the slow train to Bristol in the south west of England, near where I grew up. I was greeted with an immense down pour of torrential rain, most of which was inside the station!
